Abstract

Online reservation system is a system to order or reservation the hotel room or another place with online. At Surya Hotel Jambi at this time a guest who want to check-in can order the room came to hotel. To facilitate and guarantee data security, it is necessary to use a web-based hotel reserveration system so that guests can directly book rooms through available sites, the hotel can facilitate room reservations, can facilitate data collection of room reservations, more data can also improve data reservation security. The data needed is in the form of room data, room facilities, guest data, and reservation data. From the input obtained, it is continued by the process of collecting rooms, guests, reservations and making reports. The results obtained from the process are reports on room reservations, guest guest reports, print-out bookings, monthly guest reports, proof of payment for guests staying. Making this Online Reservation System uses the web programming language and database PHPMyAdmin. The expected result with the Online Reservation System at Surya Jambi Hotel is that it can facilitate data collection of room reservations and data reporting faster and make it easier for guests to reserve rooms.
