Abstrak

Up until now, academic questionnaire management process at STMIK Nurdin Hamzah’s Informatic Engineering Department still done manually, thus it has several deficiencies, such as a lot of paper usage and prone to human errors in data processing that can cause inaccurate end results. Web-Based Application for Academic Questionnaire Management at STMIK Nurdin Hamzah’s Informatic Engineering Department is a new, modern system developed to simplify the overall process of managing academic questionnaires which include lecturer feedback questionnaires, alumni questionnaires, stakeholder questionnaires, Vision, Mission, Goals and Target (VMGT) assessment questionnaires, and VMGT draft suggestion questionnaires at STMIK Nurdin Hamzah’s Informatic Engineering Department as well as to overcome any deficiencies that exist in the old manual system. This web-based application will be built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database management software. It can be used in the overall academic questionnaire management process, from inputting data for administrators, students, lecturers, alumni, and educational personnel, as well as inputting questionnaire entries. These inputted data will be processed through the user data processing process, questionnaire entries processing process, and questionnaire report making process to get the academic questionnaire data processing reports as the output. The results of this research indicate that a computerized system can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of academic questionnaire management process and it will produce more accurate results.
